LED pendant lamp Discovery with horizontally aligned shade
Unlighted, the Discovery LED pendant luminaire blends almost unobtrusively into the respective living ambience. As soon as the lighting is switched on, Discovery visually gains volume. The large round surface made of technopolymer provides a wide spread illumination of the room, which has a particularly good effect on a working ambience.
This innovatively designed LED pendant lamp is the creation of the Italian designer Ernesto Gismondi, founder of the Artemide lighting company in Pregnana Milanese in Italy, which has stood for design products of the highest quality since its foundation in 1960.
Ernesto Gismondi is not only an outstanding designer, who was already honoured for his life's work with the Compasso d'Oro in 1994, but he was also an associate professor for rocket engines at Milan Polytechnic from 1964 to 1984.
