tado° Smart Thermostat add-on product for individual room control This room thermostat is used to extend the smart heating control system based on the tado° Starter Kit to other rooms in the home. It replaces room thermostats in the heating system or underfloor heating. The Smart Thermostat replaces conventional wired room thermostats or regulates the heating system via a wireless connection with an Extension Kit. To establish an Internet connection, the Internet Bridge (communicates with the Smart Thermostat via radio) of the Starter Kit is connected to the router. The tado° app is used to control the system based on the location, the weather forecast, a set schedule and the control of individual rooms. Data on outdoor air quality (e.g. pollen count) enables optimised selection of ventilation times. The thermostat can be used with Siri, Google Assistant or Amazon Echo for convenient voice control on site. It can be linked to other devices via IFTTT to create scenes.
