Model 23 ceiling light with hand-folded lampshade The Model 23 ceiling light from LE KLINT impresses with its hand-folded lampshade made from a special foil. This not only allows the light to shine through evenly, it is also easy to clean, UV-resistant and particularly durable and retains its white colour even after many years. The ceiling light is available in various sizes and can also be wall-mounted to illuminate the entire room. The Danish lighting company LE KLINT was founded in 1943 by the company founder P. V. Jensen-Kling. The company became known worldwide for the craftsmanship of its folded lampshades. In collaboration with young designers, the traditions and craftsmanship have been combined with today's technologies for generations. The folding techniques of LE KLINT's lampshades are something very special. Only at LE KLINT in Odense on the island of Funen in Denmark is the folding of lampshades preserved as a craft and only here are cross-pleated shades produced.
