Model 105 pendant light with handmade shade Model 105 is a pendant light whose shade is folded by hand from a special Folie. Mogens Koch designed the model in 1942 for a Danish arts and crafts exhibition in Stockholm. The oval shape gives the model a calm expression, similar to traditional Japanese paper lanterns. Today, the light has been reissued and fitted with a suspension with fine brass details. The shade material, an easy-to-clean Folie, is particularly durable, UV-resistant and retains its white colour even after many years. LE KLINT is a Danish lighting company that was founded in 1943 by P. V. Jensen-Kling and is known worldwide for the craftsmanship of its folded lampshades. In collaboration with young designers, the company has been combining tradition and craftsmanship with today's technologies for generations. LE KLINT's folding techniques are something very special. Only at LE KLINT in Odense, Denmark is the folding of lampshades preserved as a craft and only here are cross-pleated lampshades produced.
