Finnish designer table lamp Pasila made of aluminium
The design of the 2015 Pasila table lamp from Innolux could be described as puristically Scandinavian. It is made entirely of aluminium and combines round and angular shapes in its design language, whereby the lines always remain clear. The simple and clear design is visually interrupted by the visible cable, which, with a black and white textile sheathing, gives this design lamp a further, valuable aspect.
The designer Juho Pasila and his company Pasila Design stand for products that combine simplicity and practicality with an attractive appearance. The Pasila series of lamps named after him is produced by the Finnish lamp manufacturer Innolux. Innolux's range represents a cross-section of contemporary Scandinavian design and retro design from the 20th century.
