Foscarini Twiggy – height-adjustable designer arc lamp with dimmer

The Twiggy arc lamp comes from the renowned Venice-based lighting manufacturer Foscarini. Despite its impressive size and space-consuming projection, it manages to appear graceful and by no means obtrusive. On the contrary, its delicate and elastic arc frame gives it a lively, light appearance.

The cylindrical lampshade made of fibreglass composite material seems to float beneath the delicate arc. Twiggy emits light in a classic style, both indirectly upwards and directly downwards. A translucent polycarbonate diffuser disc covers the light source in the upper area, while the light is scattered downwards by a polymethacrylate disc equipped with a multitude of Prismas, ensuring a glare-free lighting effect all around. The integrated dimmer also allows the brightness to be adjusted individually. Its harmonious light emission makes this designer light the perfect light source for reading next to an armchair, as well as an elegant source of basic lighting in your own home or in hotels and restaurants.

Twiggy impresses not only with its expressive shape and bold colours, but also with technology that is initially hidden from the naked eye. The light makes use of the elasticity of the fibreglass shaft to enable height adjustment with the aid of a maximum of four counterweights that can be placed in special pans above the diffuser.
