Three metal elements, which are offset from each other, characterize the design: an upper, small sphere, below a slightly larger hemisphere and finally the shade, which represents a small section of a very large sphere. The LEDs integrated in the shade emit warm white light that is gently diffused downwards and can be dimmed externally via Triac if required.
