LED pendant lamp Navicula with beautifully shaped bamboo shade This pendant lamp comes from the collection of the well-known designer David Trubridge, who has made a name for himself as an advocate of eco and slow design. With Navicula, the trained shipbuilder created another extraordinary design model. The shade of the pendant lamp consists of individual bamboo veneer parts, the shape is copied from a microscopic diatom, as David Trubridge, who lives and works in New Zealand, always draws his inspiration from nature. The bamboo wood comes from sustainable timber management. In order to keep the CO2 consumption during transport as low as possible, the lamp comes to the house as a kit with precise assembly instructions. The shade is fitted with a row of LEDs that radiate soft light upwards and provide a very cosy and glare-free illumination of the surroundings with an interesting play of shadows. Navicula almost seems to float in the room due to its wave-like shade. It is excellently suited, for example, as dining table lighting.
