Aesthetically designed pendant lamp Floral - Design by David Trubridge Flowers of the Pacific inspired David Trubridge, a representative of eco-design, to create the decorative pendant lamp Floral. For reasons of ecology, Floral is delivered in single parts, which means only a minimum of volume compared to the assembled shade. The scope of delivery includes the bamboo veneer elements of the shade, plastic rivets for connecting the individual elements and a suspension cable with socket. As illuminant, a filament lamp, as it can be ordered separately via the accessories, looks beautiful. The light is emitted in all directions and creates a fascinating shadow play on the wall or ceiling. David Trubridge comes from England and is a qualified shipbuilder. Today, he lives with his family in New Zealand as a furniture designer and has been giving lectures on eco-design and slow design since 2006. He draws the inspiration for his designs, which he realises in natural materials such as bamboo from sustainable forestry, from nature and from his wealth of experience during his five-year journey, which took him and his family by sailing yacht to the Caribbean, the Pacific and all the way to New Zealand.
