Designer table lamp Panthella Mini with metallic finish
Five decades, the design of this table lamp is now already old and does not seem dusty at all. Danish designer and architect Verner Panton (1926-1998) designed the Panthella lamp series in the 1970s and launched it on the market together with Louis Poulsen. Conceivably simple and yet so clever, in terms of light control, is the design of the table lamp. The hemispherical shade, which is white on the inside, directs the light downward. There, part of it hits the trumpet-shaped base and reflects it from there upwards and into the room.
The shade is made of deep-drawn steel and visually merges with the trumpet-shaped aluminum base into an organic unit thanks to the monochrome metallization.
With the reissue of the design classic, the manufacturing company Louis Poulsen added modern technical details such as an LED module and a dimmer switch on the cable, which allows the lamp to be infinitely variable from 15 to 100 immen. Also included is a timer with setting options of four or eight hours.
