Elegant wall lamp by LE KLINT - The Mushroom, also known as Model 204

The eye-catching, beautifully shaped paper lampshade is folded by hand and reminds one of the shape of a mushroom, which also gives it its name. The fine lamellae, which have been formed by folding, are placed closer together as they run downwards and sit in a holder made of natural oak wood, which underlines and harmoniously complements the effect of the paper with its light colouring and fine grains. A filigree brass tube emerges from the pleated paper shade, through which the cable is connected to the lamp socket. The radiated light is distributed over the entire surface of the translucent shade into the room and immerses it in an atmospheric ambience.

Thanks to the cable, on which a switch is integrated, the wall lamp can be mounted anywhere where there is a power socket nearby and can be operated very conveniently.

This classic was designed by Vilhelm Wohlert, who was a professor of building art and founded his own architectural office in 1945. The design and manufacturing process of the lamp reflects the principles of the Danish design lamp manufacturer LE KLINT. It places great emphasis on in-house production and good craftsmanship. The traditions have been passed down from generation to generation and so high-quality products are still being developed today, handmade and unique.
