Floor lamp Cosmic Leaf - light source and decoration object at the same time
This floor lamp is a highlight in any living room or bedroom, even when unlit, and also adds an atmospheric touch to prestigious public areas. Cosmic Leaf consists of a cylindrical base made of chrome-plated steel, which is equipped with a G53 holder pointing upwards. The light accentuates the top-mounted body, which is made of clear, textured methacrylate and shaped like a large curved leaf.
Ross Lovegrove is the creator of this floor lamp with an organic character. The British industrial designer became known for his work on the Sony Walkman, which coincides with his period of creativity in West Germany in the 1980s. In 1990 he founded his Studio X in London. He has already worked for Sony, Apple, Cappellini and Zanotta, among others. For the Italian manufacturer Artemide, which stands for high-quality design products, he created the Cosmic Leaf floor lamp.
