Levitate pendant light with an aluminium lampshade

With its beautifully shaped lampshade and brass detail that appears to float within the lampshade, giving the Levitate pendant light its name, the light reflects the purist approach of its designers. The Stockholm-based design studio Afteroom designed a series of Levitate pendant lights.

The diffuser, which sits in the lampshade above the milled brass knob, is made of handmade glass and provides glare-free lighting. As the aluminium lampshade is opaque, the light output is concentrated downwards, providing excellent illumination for tables and counters in living and dining areas.

Afteroom is a design studio founded by Taiwanese designers Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei, whose mission is to create beautiful products that add value over time. The Afteroom design studio creates products with a design that will stand the test of time.
