Can spike lights have motion detectors?

If this is a must-have for you, make sure you include it in your search filter, because not every ground spike light has this feature. The advantages of spike lights with motion detectors include conserving the battery, saving electricity and, of course, additional security. Whenever you walk through your garden, they light the way for you immediately, so you don’t trip and burglars will be deterred by the sudden light that comes on when they step onto your property. Last but not least, motion detectors simply provide convenience, since you no longer have to switch the light on manually.
Which bulbs are the most suitable?

Which IP code should spike lights have?
Just as with other outdoor lights, you have to consider the IP code that your spike lights require, because you certainly don’t want to have to worry about them every time it rains. Since ground spike lights are positioned on the ground, and rather exposed, they should have an IP code of IP44 or above – higher is always better, but you should never choose anything lower for this type of light.
