Rice paper pendant lamp Formakami JH4 by Jaime Hayon
Spanish designer Jaim Hayon, with studios in Spain, Italy and Japan, has a very obvious soft spot for Japanese rice paper lamps. He has developed his Formakami lamp series on the model of the traditional Asian lamps. The voluminous shade, under which there are two E27 sockets, is made of ivory-coloured rice paper. It is interrupted by dark details made of dyed oak wood.
Jaime Hayon sees himself as an artist, designer and interior architect. He is passionate about craftsmanship and the details involved, created by hand with love and talent.
