Indirect distribution designer wall lamp PH Hat with swivel shade

The original design of the designer wall lamp Hat dates back to 1961. The Danish designer Poul Henningsen, who designed a whole series of high-quality classic lamps for the company Louis Poulsen, also created this wall lamp with the round shade that can be swivelled from 0° to 67°, which emits the light indirectly and glare-free to the surroundings. The shade is made of steel, whereby the outside has been lacquered white, while the inside has been equipped with a pink shade, which creates a particularly warm light tint.

The Hat wall lamp can be comfortably used as a light source for reading - for example mounted on the wall above the bed or above the couch - but it also finds favour as a light source for corridors, foyers and staircases.

Equipped with plug-in cable. The on/off switch is located on the wall bracket.

The cooperation of Poul Henningsen with the company Louis Poulsen started in 1925 and lasted until his death in 1967. He designed the first PH lamp in 1925/26 and created the legendary three-shade system, which was used in the following decades not only for other pendant lamps, but also for floor lamps, table lamps, wall lamps and chandeliers.
