Consisting of numerous graceful struts, the body of the floor lamp Tuvalu is formed from bamboo. Starting from a round, narrow base, the hand-woven elements run ever wider and finally taper again somewhat to the top of the lamp. The flexibility of the material makes this design possible and at the same time makes it a stable and above all natural lighting element. Bamboo is a strong, fast-growing raw material, which also, after it has been cut off, grows back again without any problems. The natural-colored look in combination with the gaps created by the pattern give the lamp a special and decorative appearance. The view of the bulb to be used is from each side, allowing the light to escape all around and create a great pattern in the environment. Tuvalu is ideal for accent lighting on the floor or on side tables and can be operated effortlessly via the foot switch.

The lamp was designed by Dutch manufacturer It's about Romi, which counts it among its sustainable brand Good & Mojo, which has been in existence since 2016. The company has been supporting charitable projects for years and lives by the motto "Buy light and give light." So something good is always done - for example, they plant a tree for every light sold, which is made possible by the partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects.
