Foscarini Rituals XL - glass hanging light with E27 LED bulbs, dimmable

The delicate character of traditional Japanese paper lanterns is combined in the hanging light Rituals XL with high quality, handblown glass. Since 2013, the Rituals family of lights has enriched the range of prestigious design light manufacturer Foscarini of Venice. The XL variant is striking with its particularly large spherical glass shade, the surface of which is decorated with a filigree pattern of horizontal lines.

During the production process, the glass remains firmly in shape and is not rotated. The characteristic stripe pattern is formed by negative structures in the mould, which are visible on the surface of the glass. The glass body is then milled and dipped in an acid bath by hand. Thanks to the gypsum-like effect and the gentle translucence of the glass shade, the hanging light Rituals XL guarantees a harmonious, glare-free general lighting for all kinds of lounge areas.

The hanging light comes with an E27 LED retrofit light bulb, dimmable with TRIAC.

Ludovica + Roberto Palomba are known for their creations of products to which owners can enter into direct dialogue. They created their own studio in Milan in 1994 and have designed not only the series of Rituals for Foscarini, but also the Birdie, Gregg and Tartan models.
