Zoom - LED pendant luminaire of variable scissor construction It zooms in, it zooms out again. It opens and it closes again. Are we talking about a camera aperture? Far from it! It is in fact a pendant luminaire that has this function, but which has a lot in common with the zoom function of a camera and which has also taken this as its model. A movable scissor-grid construction that can be pulled apart and pushed together again at will and entirely according to the desired light diffusion. Zoom is therefore a variable and flexibly adaptable master construction that can assume a different diameter at any moment - from a small 20 cm when completely closed to a wide 130 cm in the maximum position, there is no size that Zoom cannot reproduce. The only thing to note is that Zoom's minimum suspension with the luminaire closed must be 90 cm to reach the maximum diameter. It is quite impressive to observe how the interlocking and scissor-shaped crossing stainless steel struts gently move, changing the shape of the entire luminaire. Thanks to its wide range of adjustment possibilities, the pendant luminaire is suitable for almost any room size, because it can very well remain in a pushed-together position without its brightness being perceived as too strong. Because Zoom is completely hidden, hardly noticeable from the outside, and has 20 built-in high-performance LEDs that can of course be dimmed. All that is needed is a leading-edge or trailing-edge phase dimmer and the luminaire's brightness is completely variable. This impressive pendant luminaire is held not by one, but by 20 ropes that lead to each tip of the scissor construction and hold Zoom reliably in a horizontal position at all times. Zoom can almost be described as a modern chandelier, which, however, does not need a particularly magnificent room, but can be hung right here and now in the next living room to immediately become a highlight there.
