The Nur Gloss LED hanging lamp provides atmospheric room lighting using both direct and indirect light. Its modern design is down to its creator Ernesto Gismondi. However, the modern touch is not just restricted to optics and lighting technology; Nur Gloss can even be controlled by smartphone using Bluetooth technology via an app.
The functions of the Artemide app include being able to handle up to 500 individual devices with BLE mesh technology, creating individual light scenarios, and dimming the light as well as switching it on and off.
The idea behind the light comes from Ernesto Gismondi. In 1960 he founded the company Artemide, which has made headlines around the world with its products and is based in Pregnana near Milan.
