Made of steel with a polyester powder coating, the Geen-A floor lamp fits perfectly into the purist interior style. A high, cylindrical base provides stability here and a thin rod leads to the semicircular shade. A special feature is the handle above the light source, which is suitable for moving the lamp. The warm white light source shines exclusively downwards through the metal shade and provides reading light in the armchair or by the bed. An integrated dimmer control helps to adjust the brightness to the current conditions.

The Italian architect and designer Ferruccio Laviani created the design of the Geen-A with reading pleasure in mind. The design is a small homage to his mother, who loved to enjoy her free time with a book in her hand. The curiosity that is aroused when looking at a book cover and the effect that books take the reader into a fantastic world create a special mood that the artist wants to support with the Geen-A floor lamp.

Geen-A is manufactured by the Italian company Kartell, which has been concerned with sustainability since its foundation in 1949. Long research work makes it possible to use materials that are regenerable and have no negative impact on the environment. The raw materials used are recyclable and can find new life thanks to the material processing processes for industrial products.
