In 1981 the company Foscarini is founded on the Venetian island of Murano. The manufacturer has always fascinated its customers with lighting objects that stand out from the crowd thanks to their creative designs and high-quality workmanship. To achieve this, Foscarini collaborates with various designers who bring their expertise and signature to the manufacturer's product range. This includes the married couple Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, whose floor lamp Rituals radiates a delicate elegance and is a homage to the material glass.

The round shade of the luminaire is made of mouth-blown glass with a structured surface of fine lines. The irregular arrangement of the lines creates different nuances of light, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. Rituals has an integrated dimmer to adjust the light intensity of the corresponding illuminant. In contrast to the elaborately designed shade, the reduced appearance of the luminaire neck forms an interesting contrast and rounds off the design visually.
