What characterizes a modern chandelier?
Modern chandeliers are less opulent and more discreet, but this is precisely why they are harmonious furnishing objects. Modern chandeliers with minimalist frames or soft playfulness are created for modern interiors where reduction is important.
What remains with these lighting objects, however, is the visible light source or the covering of individual light sources with shades. This distinguishes the modern chandelier from contemporary pendant lights with permanently installed LEDs, which are integrated into a particularly delicate design.

Which light source belongs in a modern chandelier?
The light source is also a design element in modern chandeliers. For this reason, visually appealing light sources with a flame look should also be used here. LED lamps with filament optics** are now being used to replace incandescent and halogen lamps.
These save energy, provide comfortable light and are similar to traditional light bulbs. In addition to the candle lamp, wind gust lamps are also available.
How can you clean a chandelier?
To remove dust from the surface of the chandelier, a dry clean with a feather duster is usually sufficient. Cleaning sprays** are also available especially for chandeliers, which are sprayed on so that dirt and dust drip off. Be sure to place newspapers or towels under the chandelier.
Please always switch off the chandelier and the fuse before cleaning and allow the chandelier to cool down if it was previously lit. The power may only be switched on again once the chandelier is completely dry.
