Modern designer pendant lamp in the style of the light bulb

With her pendant lamp, Danish lighting artist Sofia Refer has paid homage to the time-honoured light bulb, which is now almost universally replaced by LED retrofit lamps. The shape of the shade is reminiscent of the typical incandescent lamp shape. In addition, the luminaire with the transparent shade and the unobstructed view of the inner workings underlines the importance of the illuminant. Ideally, one uses a decorative, e.g. a filament light source here. The glass shade is mouth-blown and has various differences or irregularities, which are a typical sign of craftsmanship and make each lamp unique.

&Tradition is a Danish company that produces lamps and furniture. As the company name suggests, tradition and classic designs play a big role - but also new, modern designs that are timeless. The Bulb lamp series by Sofia Refer is an example of the latter.
