Design pendant lamp Dandy 440 with a cardboard shade
Think Paper is a Dutch design light manufacturer that produces sustainable lights that are characterized by a very unique character. This is also the case with the Dandy 440 pendant lamp, whose shade is self-supporting and made of cardboard strips. All materials used for the production of the lamp are sustainably produced and the glue used to glue the cardboard strips is 100% biodegradable.
The bulbous designed shade of the pendant lamp Dandy 440 inspires on and off, because the different coloring of the cardboard strips with their different thicknesses and corrugations not only create beautiful color shades, but also fine openings through which the light penetrates and effectively stages the lampshade. The majority of the light, however, is emitted directly through the wide shade opening.
