The Starter Kit V3 from tado° already offers full functionality for demand-based control of the room climate via app. With the manually adjustable and automatic programs, heating costs can be reduced by up to 31%.

The smart thermostat communicates via radio with the Internet Bridge, which establishes the connection to the Internet via the router. The thermostat takes the place of conventional wired room thermostats, while the separately available Extension Kit controls the main heating system. Additional smart (radiator) thermostats can be added to regulate multiple zones.

The tado° app offers numerous options for regulating individual rooms, according to a schedule, the weather forecast, or the presence at the location. Times for ventilation can be optimized based on outdoor air quality (including pollen load).

On-site control is made even more convenient thanks to voice control with Siri, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa. IFTTT enables the compilation of scenes with other devices.
