Our home is our fortress. It’s where we feel safe and secure, especially when we have a reliable alarm system installed. And now they’re even better, as they can connect to a smartphone via a smart home app and alert us instantly, wherever we are in the world if our homes are being broken into.

How do smart alarm systems work?

There are elaborate smart home alarm systems that need to be planned and wired. But some can be easily installed and set up with wireless technology - and that's precisely what you'll find in our shop.

As a rule, an alarm control panel is connected to other components, like sensors or sirens. Via a smartphone app, you can then check the status or be notified in the event of an alarm. These systems not only protect against burglary, but they’re also designed to alert you in case of fire or flooding - pretty cool, right?

For which systems are there smart home alarm systems?

Alarm systems usually work via control centres and not directly via a voice assistant. However, some smart alarm systems offer integrated voice assistance, such as Amazon Echo or Google Home.

What components are available for smart alarm systems?

Many different components can be added to your home security system to make sure you are fully protected

These include:

What should be considered when using home alarm systems?

To ensure your alarm system works properly, it must be installed professionally and then tested. The Wi-Fi network and other connections should also be secure using a VPN.
