Cavity Ceiling designer ceiling light as a glare-free downlight

The Cavity Ceiling LED ceiling light is characterised by gentle curves. The aluminium body is hollowed out in the place where the light bulb sits – that is why it is called Cavity. The fact that the LEDs sit so deep in the body results in a unique lighting effect which resembles that of a downlight, but is also very soft and, above all, free from glare. The body serves as a reflector and is also the decorative element of this light at the same time.

The two designers of this light, Jean-Marc da Costa and Manfred Wolf, are also the founders of the designer lighting manufacturer serien.lighting. In 1985, the two industrial designers founded the company, with which they are now active throughout the world. The serien.lighting lights are characterised by a sophisticated, but understated design and a technology which has been thought through to the last detail and is in perfect harmony with the design.
