Simply replace the existing window handle with the wireless alarm handle. After successful installation, the handle can be activated or deactivated at any time. A holiday function is also possible, in which two permanently flashing red LEDs serve as a visual deterrent. As the alarm handle is radio-capable, it can operate together with other radio products. For example, direct coupling with the Schellenberg wireless socket is possible, which switches on the connected Sirene or light directly when the alarm is triggered. This function is also possible without a Smart Home connection. When the alarm handle is integrated into a Smart Friends system, many other functions and interactions with other devices are possible. For example, it is possible to check whether the windows are open, tilted or closed while travelling (remote control function, may be subject to a charge). Or the coupling of the window handle with the Schellenberg wireless heating thermostat: When the window is open or tilted, the thermostat automatically regulates the temperature so that no unnecessary heating costs are incurred. This is all programmed and controlled via the free Smart Friends app.
