It is equipped with a rechargeable battery that is charged via the USB port on the bottom of the shade. After 6 hours of charging, the integrated LEDs emit warm white light into the room for about 9 hours. Switching on and off is done via the touch switch, which is placed centrally on the top of the diffuser.
