With the tado° App, the heating can be controlled from anywhere using your own smartphone. With the help of intelligent skills, the optimum room temperature is achieved at all times: Location-independent control, window open detection, weather forecast control or intelligent schedules - the tado° Thermostat Starter Kit V3+ with radio allows you to reduce your own consumption and save money. The Set consists of an Internet Bridge, a radio temperature sensor and a radio receiver, which serves as a thermostat for the boiler or a therme. This offer also includes a radiator thermostat. This takes the place of conventional radiator thermostats. All components are made by tado°. The Smart Radiator Thermostat can be fitted to all standard radiators using the adapters supplied. The wireless thermostat, which is also included, is suitable if the boiler or therme is equipped with a wireless room thermostat or if there is no thermostat at all. The Internet Bridge is connected to the router and thus establishes the connection to the tado° app on the smartphone. This enables a wide range of control options based on location, weather forecast, settings for individual rooms or a smart schedule. Data on outdoor air quality (e.g. pollen count) allows ventilation times to be optimised, while the wireless temperature sensor ensures that several thermostats can be controlled together and can be mounted on the wall or placed on a table. This allows the location of the temperature measurement to be determined as desired. tado° also takes account of the increasingly popular voice control; the smart radiator thermostat allows access via Siri, Amazon Echo or Google Assistant. Home automation can also be linked to event-based scenes using IFTTT. In addition to the free skills mentioned above, the tado° App offers additional convenient functions for independent and automated heating control with Auto-Assist (for a fee) as well as failure protection for the heating system with "Care & Protect".
