Pillar lamp Selina with motion detector
Pillar lamps can be positioned in many places in the garden and around the house. They then provide sufficient light to guarantee that you can find your way at any time after dark. Of course, the question does then arise of how to best arrange that both of the following can be realised: that anyone who needs light does not have to stand in the dark and that the light does not shine all night because that not only consumes power unnecessarily, but can also be perceived as disruptive. The best solution to this problem seems to be to use a pillar lamp with a motion detector so that the light only comes on when a movement is actually registered. In the case of Selina the detection angle is 120°, the lighting duration can be set from 10 s - 8 min and the range is between 1 - 8 m.
