The UV-C air purifier MiKi receives an update with version 2. Added are a function display including a sensor and an indicator for a pending lamp replacement, a changed insertion of the connection cable (new: on the opposite side to the switch), an improved fan (air flow rate 78 m³/h instead of 70 m³/h) and a further reduced noise level (32 dB instead of 38 dB).

With MiKi 2, the German manufacturer Li-Ex offers a modern, functionally convincing device for air disinfection. With a reliable elimination of 99.9% of the viruses and bacteria in the air passed through, MiKi lives up to its long designation as a "micro-organism killer" and thus reduces the likelihood of passing on infectious diseases such as flu or colds via aerosols in the room air.

The two integrated fans for drawing in and expelling the air work quietly and effectively at the same time. Inside the white aluminium housing, a special tube lamp with its UV-C light renders the pathogens suspended in the air harmless. No ozone is produced and the UVC radiation remains inside the housing. This means that the unit can be operated continuously in the presence of people and pets without hesitation. The supplied "BigFoot" base made of powder-coated stainless steel ensures a particularly safe stand, so that this version of Miki 2 is particularly suitable for use in areas with increased public traffic, such as waiting rooms and meeting rooms.

Notes:

- For best effectiveness, the air inlet (located next to the switch) should be on the top side.

- During the first 1 to 2 hours of operation, a metallic smell may occur; this is due to the manufacturing process and is harmless to health.
