Swirl – a handmade wall light in white

The magnificent Swirl wall light is worthy of its name, as its design is very much inspired by a whirlpool. The outside already embodies the classic dynamism and the typical movement of a whirlpool. Each light in the Swirl series is unique, as the Danish manufacturer still produces them by hand using a delicate and elaborate technique. The designer lights are produced in Copenhagen by the world-renowned manufacturer Le Klint and can look back upon a century of tradition. At the beginning of the 20th century, the manufacturer began to produce and sell exclusively handmade pleated lampshades, and the company was officially founded in 1943. Since then, the company has specialised in lights, but the handmade pleated lampshade has become a hallmark that is still used in the products today. Over the decades, the Danish manufacturer has also been able to work with a wide range of famous designers and architects to produce many well-known lighting models that enjoy a great deal of popularity.
