Suspension lamp Serentia with walnut veneer shade - handmade in Germany
The lighting company Gofurnit, founded in 2019 by Manuel Döpper, is based in Cologne and produces wonderful light objects made of veneer wood. The focus is always on the use of renewable raw materials to conserve natural resources. This is also how the Serentia pendant light was created from walnut veneer. For this purpose, individual, carefully selected veneer slats were combined to form a decorative shade that directs the light into the room from the inside along the slats in a fascinating way, emphasizing the grain of the strong gray-brown wood. Serentia, with its glare-free light output, is suitable for many lighting applications: Whether as basic lighting for living rooms and bedrooms or as a light source above a dining table - Serentia unfolds its special charm everywhere.
