Gravity 1 is a pendant luminaire with a certain something and takes centre stage in any room even when switched off.A total of five large components form its shade - a bowl curved downwards, which has many spaces in between due to the struts is illuminated from above specifically with a cylindrical, narrow body in which a GU10 lamp is inserted. Further down, in various sizes and widths, there are more upwardly curved shades made of metal struts. In the centre - similar to a mushroom - an opaque, metal body is incorporated, in the head of which the LED module sits and spreads its warm white light all around the room. Another cylindrical body, in which a GU10 bulb is inserted and provides direct, punctual illumination, closes off the design.The designer of this luminaire - Kateryna Sokolova - follows her guiding principle: "In order to create good design, you have to mix three ingredients: Simplicity, functionality and passion."
