Design pendant luminaire Discovery Rectangular with effective Edgelight lighting technology

For fascinating lighting conditions in large living rooms, meeting and office areas, the Discovery Rectangular LED pendant lamp is the ideal choice. When unlit, the pendant lamp with its rectangular plastic shade surrounded by an aluminium frame is barely visible; when lit, it becomes an absolute eye-catcher in the interior and provides cosy illumination of the surroundings in a special way. The LED light sources are built into the frame, so the shade is flooded with light from the sides and then emits it into the room.

Ernesto Gismondi (1931-2020), the creative mind behind the Discovery luminaire series, received many awards for his luminaire designs. The co-founder of the company, which has existed since 1960, led the Artemide Group to worldwide fame and was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1994 and the European Design Prize in 1997 for his career achievements.
