Orsa 21 LED hanging lamp from Artemide with a minimalistic design
Transparency and the illusion of a floating lens are provided by the Orsa 21 LED hanging light with its conical clear methacrylate diffuser. The LED light source is located in the top of the lampshade. From there, the light is directed so that it fills the clear body and also makes the lower edge appear like an opal, shining lens.
The Orsa 21 LED ceiling light is a project by Foster + Partners Industrial Design of the United Kingdom. The studio works internationally in the fields of architecture, engineering and design. Foster + Partners was founded in 1967 by Norman Foster. The Orsa hanging lamp was designed by Foster and his team for the Italian designer lighting manufacturer Artemide. Artemide stands for design and made in Italy quality. The high-quality lights of the Italian company have been honoured with awards and prizes for years for their innovative designs and functions.
