Strikingly designed pendant lamp Icaro Ball by Brian Rasmussen

The Icaro Ball pendant luminaire is a decorative highlight even when switched off. This is mainly due to the shade design: The shade consists of two different shapes worked into each other. On the outside, metal rods are arranged all around to form a ball shape, while on the inside - starting from the socket - a pear shape was designed. Both forms are visible to the observer through the gaps between the rods. A third, decorative aspect is the small fabric shade around the inserted lamp, which ensures that the light is emitted without glare. The fabric shade is not included in the scope of delivery of Icaro Ball, it is available in several colours separately via the lamp accessories.

With Icaro Ball, the Danish designer created a lighting object that fits perfectly into the product range of the Italian lighting manufacturer Modo Luce, whose exclusively designed luminaires decorate both public and private areas.
