Modern Ceiling Lights – Lighting You Can’t Live Without

In this day and age, a room without a ceiling light is hard to imagine. While they’re met with stiff competition in the dining room in the form of pendant lights and wall lights, in any other room, we think that a modern ceiling light is an absolute must as it ensure a pleasant general lighting effect. This, of course, does not prevent you from pairing them perfectly with other lights. Consider combining your modern ceiling light with a floor lamp used as area lighting to create beautiful pockets of light or with decorative lights that stream pretty accents around the room.

How are modern ceiling lights installed?

It depends on the model. But don’t worry – each modern ceiling lamp comes with practical installation instructions and diagrams, providing all of the required dimensions. If you still have questions, our specialists are always on hand to assist you. 

Can ceiling lights be installed without drilling?

Unfortunately, gravity prevents this from being possible. To install your new, modern ceiling light, you’ll need to use a drill. We strongly recommend not using glue or any other kind of adhesive, as lights are too heavy to be held up for long.

Tip: The screws and dowels needed to install the light usually come included. However, specialised solutions are sometimes required - for example, plasterboard ceilings need special screws and dowels to hold the light in place securely.

Which bulb is right for a modern ceiling lamp?

LED bulbs help you save the most energy. Modern LED technology also offers a number of other advantages that you won’t want to miss out on. Here’s a brief overview:

What’s more, bathrooms are further divided into protection zones – with areas that are particularly prone to moisture requiring higher IP codes.
