Black design pendant lamp Terho with smoke grey transparent glass
A beautiful sight offers the pendant lamp Terho already when it is still switched off. Its appearance evokes associations with the fruit of the oak tree. Thus, the acorn (Finnish for "acorn") served the creator of this unusual light source, Maija Puoskari, as a model for her design. The Finnish designer, who runs her studio in Helsinki's Kallio district, is a nature lover and likes to spend her free time picking mushrooms and fishing. Terho can be used in living and gastronomy areas for general or table lighting and enchants with Scandinavian minimalist aesthetics and soft, cosy light.
The pendant lamp Terho is manufactured by the Danish company Mater, which specializes in the high-quality production of furniture and lighting. Mater always implements works of young as well as established designers with regard to sustainability and ethics, which is reflected in the selection of traditional craft techniques and sustainable materials.
