Table lamp Ray - natural touch, minimalist Scandinavian design
The Ray table lamp is one of a series of pendant, wall, table and floor lamps for whose design the designer duo Pederjessen (consisting of the industrial designers Søren Pedersen and Lasse Jessen) was awarded the German Design Award in 2018. Made of lacquered steel, the table lamp is equipped with a spherical shade whose lower section is made of oak wood and attached with a magnetic fastener. This construction allows an alignment of the round light output.
The Ray lamp series is produced by Mater, a Danish furniture and lighting manufacturer, which is known for exclusive designs and attaches importance to a resource-saving production with the inclusion of traditional handicraft techniques.
