Aesthetics in tubular form: The LED ceiling lamp Ambrosia 120 with concealed driver

Not only its name, which came from Greek mythology and means "food of the gods", makes the LED ceiling lamp Ambrosia 120 an excellent choice. Originally planned as a further development of the traditional Linestra line lamp, Ambrosia was initially designed as a classic line lamp itself. However, the idea of taking the functional design to the next level aesthetically emerged as early as the design stage. Thus, the specimen initially planned as a one-off for a luxury boutique in Madrid became the Ambrosia series through the collaboration of designer Joan Gaspar with the design studio Ciszak Dalmas.

The design is decisively characterized by the asymmetrical overall appearance, the soft lines and the LED tube open from below, which emits the warm white light slightly diffused thanks to the opal white surface, creating a pleasant atmosphere. In this version with concealed driver, Ambrosia does without a visible canopy and advances with its coherent appearance to a decorative design object, even when it is not currently switched on.
