Louis Poulsen PH 5 Mini Copper hanging lamp Ø 30cm

In 1958, the “big sister” of the PH 5 Mini, the PH 5, created a sensation for the first time. A light with a multiple lampshade system made of metal, which allows the light to be emitted entirely without glare. Created by the Danish designer Poul Henningsen, who worked with the manufacturing company Louis Poulsen from 1925 until his death in 1967 and laid the foundation for the theory of light that is still used there. 

In 2017, Louis Poulsen brought out the PH 5 Mini, a pendant light which has a smaller diameter but is otherwise structurally identically to the PH 5. Like the PH 5, it boasts a new copper and white colour for its 60th anniversary, giving the emitted light a particularly warm flair, as the reflective copper surfaces reflect the surrounding area.

A hanging light that is particularly effective when used for the atmospheric illumination of a table.

Please note that the copper surface is untreated and that a patina forms with time, a process which may have already started in the factory.
