The pendant lamp PH 5 Mini is so to speak the little sister of the PH 5, which was established in 1958. It is a lamp with a metal multiple shade system, which allows a completely glare-free light reproduction. The Danish designer Poul Henningsen, who worked with the manufacturing company Louis Poulsen from 1925 until his death in 1967, laid the foundation for the theory of light with the pendant lamp PH 5, which is still used there.

In 2017 Louis Poulsen launched the PH 5 Mini, a smaller diameter and otherwise completely identical counterpart to the PH 5, which now has a new look in brass and white. This colour combination creates a light emission for a particularly warm flair, as the reflective brass surfaces reflect the surroundings. It should be noted that the brass surface is untreated and a pretty patina forms over time, a process that may have already begun at the factory.

The luminaire manufacturer Louis Poulsen was founded in 1874 and has always had the vision that designs give form to light and that light creates a positive effect on people and space. With a focus on the balance between craftsmanship and innovation, famous luminaires are created for both private and commercial use.
