LED pendant lamp PH 5/5 with three-layer shade made of aluminum and adjustable light color
The shade of the LED pendant lamp PH 5/5 is made of drawn aluminum. It is composed of three elements of different sizes, the outside of which is designed black, while the inside is kept white. The respective environment is illuminated diffusely and the warm light radiates primarily towards the floor. Therefore, the hanging lamp is ideal for use above the kitchen or living room table. The light color can be conveniently adjusted via Bluetooth control. To control the light, the Casambi app is required, which is available free of charge for Android and iOS devices. Thus, the optimal lighting conditions can be created for any situation via smartphone, tablet or smartwatch.
The three-shade system is the trademark of the Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen and was already designed by Poul Henningsen in 1925 and 1926. The close collaboration resulted in a total of about a thousand models in various shapes and colors, which are still very popular today.
