Whether as a decorative accent on windowsills and side tables or as an additional light source in reading corners - Panthella Portable is a modern LED table lamp with a harmonious appearance and pleasant lighting effect, which can also be placed away from a power source if desired.
The shade in the form of a hemisphere open at the bottom allows the light to escape downwards and, thanks to the translucent material, appears as a uniformly illuminated sphere. The stand is concave in shape and merges seamlessly into the circular base at the base. Here there is a switch that allows a three-stage selection of brightness (10%, 33% or 100%). It is also equipped with a charging input for the supplied USB cable. This is used to charge the integrated rechargeable battery, which provides an operating time of 5 hours at maximum brightness.
Panthella was developed in 1971 by Verner Panton, one of the most important furniture designers of the 20th century. In the Panthella Portable version, Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen combines traditional design with modern technologies such as LEDs and rechargeability.
