The name of the Caché pendant light (French for "hidden") makes sense as a second white lampshade is concealed under the black metal lampshade, which is made of pleated plastic. Each of these lampshades is unique because it is precision-made by hand, and must be handled with care so that the light is not damaged and can continue to provide enjoyment for the long term.

Every single light made by the Danish manufacturer Le Klint is manufactured by hand on site. This is the only way to meet the quality requirements that Le Klint has for its products. The Caché pendant light combines the unprecedented cross-pleating technique for which the manufacturer is known with the simplicity of an ordinary pendant light. However, the light that emerges is definitely no ordinary light. The corners, edges, heights and depths generated by the pleats create a unique interplay of light and shade.

Le Klint is a design company with a long history as the first lights were made at the start of the 20th century. The characteristic pleating technique has remained unchanged to this day. Le Klint is still characterised by the outstanding quality of its handmade products.
