The pendant lamp 105 Large captivates with its hand-folded shade, which catches the eye with its special structure. The oval shape gives the lamp a calm expression and recalls the look of the classic, Japanese paper lantern. Thanks to the white, timeless color design, the pendant lamp fits effortlessly into numerous environments and can function wonderfully as a stand-alone lamp or be combined with other lights in the collection. Through the shade, the light penetrates into the room without dazzling. The bulb is not included and can be freely selected according to the appropriate socket. The manufacturer recommends the use of an LED light source to prevent heat build-up inside the shade.

The design of the pendant lamp 105 dates back to 1945 and was conceived by Mogens Koch. The production is the responsibility of the Danish lighting manufacturer Le Klint, whose special feature is the hand-folded shades. The idea of the folding technique also goes back to the 20th century, when the architect P.V. Jensen-Klint folded a lampshade for a kerosene lamp. Le Klint remains faithful to this concept to this day, while the technique is always evolving.
