Homematic IP Access Point - control center for Homematic IP smart home system

The Access Point serves as a cloud-based central connection unit for the Homematic IP smart home system.

Communication between the smartphone and all Homematic IP components takes place via the Access Point - from integration, through configuration, to control during operation.

The access point is connected directly to the router with the included network cable. Homematic IP sensors and actuators are connected to the access point via radio. Up to five Philips Hue lamps/luminaires can also be integrated; this requires a Philips Hue Bridge and the Philips Hue app on the smartphone/tablet.

Operation is possible mounted on the wall (mounting material included) or also lying on the table, for example.
